A theatrical experience like no other! This is a three-week ½ day camp open to students entering 4th grade through entering 6th grade. Our production team works with students to develop an appropriate stage presence, hone vocal skills, increase dancing repertoire, and build a troupe of actors who respect each other and the arts. The last Thursday and Friday are performance days with one matinee and one evening show each day in our state-of-the-art facility, complete with full sets, lighting, and costumes.
Adapted from the three-time-Tony-nominated Broadway hit comes A Year with Frog and Toad KIDS. Based on Arnold Lobel’s well-loved books, the jazzy, upbeat score bubbles with melody. Part vaudeville, part make-believe, and all charm, A Year with Frog and Toad KIDS tells the story of a friendship that endures throughout the seasons.
This whimsical show follows two great friends – the cheerful, popular Frog, and the rather grumpy Toad – through four fun-filled seasons. Waking from hibernation, Frog and Toad plant gardens, swim, rake leaves, go sledding and learn life lessons along the way. Throughout the year, two best friends celebrate and rejoice in the differences that make them unique and special.
Camp is 8am-12pm Monday-Friday except the Wednesday before the performance days which is 8am-3pm and performance days which are the last Thursday and Friday of camp. Camp hours performance days are 8am-11:30am and 5:30pm – 9pm.
